Super League Gaming Moves Higher Stock Market Drops on Powell's Talk | $SLGG $GME $AMC $SPY $QQQ

Major indices closed significantly lower following Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s talk with the Wall Street Journal. Powell spoke to ease investors fears, but the opposite effect took place as a large sell off occurred during his speech as the 10 year Treasury yield ran above 1.5%, sending stocks lower. The Nasdaq officially crosssed into correction territory, closing 10% below its all time high. The $QQQ etf managed to hold the $300 level however. The S&P 500 closed down 1.4%, Dow down 1.1%, and the Russell 2000 down 2.8%. Super League Gaming’s momentum continued as it pushed higher today, moving into the $9s before touching $9.65 after hours before quickly selling off back into the upper $7 area. Gamestop pushed higher at 1130 am pst on high volume and closed above $130. Could Gamestop push higher tomorrow to close the week? AMC had a quick surge higher following GME’s momentum but closed down 6% on the day.
