Sanjiv Bhatt: Verdict against Modi, Amit Shah's critic, politically motivated?

Following the Jamnagar sessions court ordering life imprisonment to former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt for his alleged involvement in two decades old custodial death case. However, no police personnel have been punished for any of these deaths in this time.. But with IPS Sanjiv Bhatt's case this surely raise a lot questions whether it is political motive or not?
