We are constantly iterating on our image to make it very intuitive for our students. Our constant metric is how long it takes for a student, who have never touched a computer to login and start playing a game. Naomi holds the record at 2 minutes.

This is important because we need to show the kids that computers are not intimidating The next step is continued engagement. We do this by running group sessions. During this phase, they pick and choose what games they want to play. Most of the times they all play the same game and help each other beat levels. They discovered the chat feature of the networked multiplayer game yesterday and went to town!

Once they have become comfortable and engaged, we introduce touch typing. Our touching typing application is a clone of Ratatype. It has leaderboards and the competitive aspect still.

After they can touch type then everything is at their figure tips.
