I haven't painted yet this week, been too busy traveling, biking and getting settled for the next several weeks here in Utah in some dispersed camping spots. found a good one next to a paved trail, woohoo! But, been jonesing to get back into the paints, so that's on the agenda today.

Story behind this painting- My daughter is a very successful businesswoman in Miami, running her own social media agency. So, when her birthday came around earlier this month, I wanted to gift her something special, seeing as how she can pretty much buy whatever she wants herself, haha! and what is more unique than the gift of art, which luckily I happen to be pretty decent at 😁

And the perfect idea came to me, a painting of her beloved dog Finn! my daughter has some large custom abstracts I painted for her apartment, but I've never painted Finn so this will be perfect! She adopted him around 7 years ago when she was still in college. He is her loyal companion and travel buddy. He has traveled From Miami to Alaska and everywhere in between with her! so, this painting will reflect his many great travels! Will post a final video once it's completed, but here's the beginning stages.
