When Majesty, a six-year-old Doberman, came to Animal Humane Society, she needed emergency care. At just 30 pounds, Majesty was severely malnourished and dehydrated.

Our expert veterinary staff quickly put Majesty on a specialized diet and were overjoyed when she soon began gaining weight. Unfortunately, Majesty wasn’t out of the woods yet. Being so malnourished, she was more susceptible to illness than other dogs and she developed pneumonia.

Our vets did everything they could to help her but were worried as this sweet dog continued to battle the infection. Against the odds, Majesty fought hard, continued to get better, and won our staff’s hearts in the process.

Thanks to supporters like you, AHS was able to care for Majesty until she was ready to find her new home. But our work is not done yet.
