Le Festin (Ratatouille) Jazz Cover - Joe Landry

Ratatouille meets big band swing, one of the craziest arrangements I've done so far!

It's been a couple of weeks since last time I made a video that could be called "jazz", so it kind of feels like coming back home in a way. This is such a great movie with such a great soundtrack, I knew I would do an arrangement of the main theme at some point. I wasn't sure at first how to approach arranging it, but I figured since I can play trumpet and trombone now, big band swing it is! I think this is the best harmony I've managed to pull off with wind instruments in my videos, writing these parts are always the hardest, but I am satisfied with the results.

The project has 19 tracks I believe, kind of crazy since none of them are synths or strings. It is a bit short though, as I would have liked the song to last as long as my other videos. I had a ton of ideas, but ended up cutting them because pulling it off in a week was too hard for my current situation.
After this week's video, I will go from a video every week to a video every 2 weeks (school will probably slow me down a bunch).

I could talk about my decisions for the structure of the song and stuff, but if you've read all of this until here, I feel like I've wasted enough of your time.
