#THEPITT is a medical drama that follows the daily lives of healthcare professionals in an underfunded and busy Pittsburgh hospital, specifically its emergency room, as they grapple with high-pressure situations, personal struggles, and workplace dynamics. The show, which aired on Max in 2025, focuses on the resilience and dedication of the medical staff as they navigate the challenges of saving lives in a demanding environment.

The show stars It stars Noah Wyle, Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez, and was created by R. Scott Gemmell.

Ball plays Dr. Frank Langdon, a Senior Emergency Medicine Resident who is regarded by Dr. Robby (Wylie) as the heir apparent of The Pitt, Langdon, a charismatic and upbeat presence in the E.D., and can be seen as everyone’s favorite doctor. He overcame a devastating back injury to become a dedicated doctor, but developed a dependency on controlled substances to deal with the pain.

During the #interview, Ball discusses how the part was absolutely perfect for him, his family history within the emergency medical field, what could happen to Langdon in the future, and getting the opportunity to play Hamlet in an upcoming production.
