Queensland Trains at Moolabin and Sherwood 12th November 2024

(00:00) First we have PN013 at Moolabin. It has just coupled up to the last string of intermodal wagons and pulls forward ready for inspection prior to departure.
(02:24) PN013 has arrived in the Sherwood loop and waits for several suburban electric trains to pass before heading onto the down suburban line through platform 2 at Sherwood and across to the main down line.
(05:09) Climbing up from Graceville on the up main line, 2835 and 2849 pull train Y874 across to the up suburban line and on towards Fisherman Island via platform 1 at Sherwood and Tennyson.
(07:47) and EMU 44 follows Y876 thru platform 1 but on towards Corinda and it's destination of Springfield Central. At the same time, an NGR set (719) heads to Redcliffe, crossing from the down suburban to the down main line.
(08:55) I was surprised to hear the throb of 2195A and 2415 rolling down the main line light engine.
(09:36) as the signal protecting the two light engines changes from red to single yellow, 2839 pulls train Y776 up from Graceville. It will follow Y876 as far as Yeerongpilly, where it will head to Acacia Ridge.
