If you have depression (like me) and your dating, PLEASE avoid making the following mistakes I made in my past relationships.

I didn't realize I was doing things that negatively affected my mental health when I was dating. I was putting ALL of my happiness in my significant other, revolved my world COMPLETELY around them, and started to lose who I was. When you are doing these things, not only are you putting so much pressure onto who you're dating to make you happy, but you're stopping yourself from growing as an individual.

Whether you're already in a relationship, or thinking about getting into one, make sure you are doing things that help you maintain positive mental health. That means avoiding these mistakes. Lastly, if you're the one with depression, or dating someone that has it, this video helps give a better understanding when it comes to depression and dating.
