"Redsquare" . The local name for this kind of seedfinch is "Towa Towa", its the most popular cagebird in Guyana. The good singers are highly prized in Guyana,Trinidad and Surinam. In Brazil these birds are called Curio. My friend's bird is one of the best singers on the East Coast of Guyana.This video was taken on my vacation in Jan 08, in my village of Clonbrook, enjoy.
