Sometimes you just want to make a fresh serving of Pasta, just for one. Here is a quick pasta sauce for one, a fresh tasty and super simple idea. Using only 4 ingredients it is vibrant, healthy and quick. You can make it in 2 minutes! Try our quick pasta sauce for one today, from the simpley cooking channel.


INGREDIENTS:

1 x stick of fresh asparagus, cleaned and cut into thin diagonal slices
1 x large tomato finely diced
6 x medium to large basil leaves slivered
1 x tablespoon of butter
salt to taste

METHOD:

-cook pasta according to packet instructions, serving for one approx 150 grams.
-heat some olive oil in a pan and sear the asparagus for one minute
-next add the tomato and combine, cooking for one minute on high or until the tomato has heated and the juice has errupted
-next add the basil and toss through
-add the butter and stir through and salt to taste
-add the cooked pasta and toss quickly through the mixture
-serve


NB: If you find the sauce too dry add a little of the pasta water. To make this sauce in large quantities just double or tripple recipe according to the measurements.
