Mandavya Sara who is also known as Mandarva by tibetan vajrayan buddhism was a princess born in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India who goes on to become a great Maha Siddha Dakini.

This is a documentary about her journey.
From her birth to her practices under her guru, to meeting Maha Siddha Padmasambhav and creating Vajrayan Buddhism and then in her later years coming back to her homeland and reconnecting with the Siddha Guru Mandala in Kulant Peeth where her journey began.

In this untold story you will also get to know her legacy which is a living tradition in Siddha Dharma. We have preserved the iconography and symbolism through Siddha Dharma paintings from the archive of Kaulantak Peeth, visual AI arts as per our traditional understanding of Mandavya Sara along with real footages of important historic location.

Parts of her story is promoted by tibetans but her times before Guru Rinpoche and her times after leaving Tibet is largely unknown until now.

Through her inspiration, Siddha Tantra Arts is happy to share this documentary on the great Dakini whose complete life story deserve to be heard in the way she intended in her diary/journal. A memoir that she composed in her later years which is partly preserved in the manuscript known as 'Dhumra Parvat Kundali' amongst others.

The source of information in this documentary is based on manuscripts available in Siddha Archive of Kaulantak Peeth, Himalaya and the teachings of Kaulantak Nath Maha Siddha Ishaputra
