If you are a Washington DC resident, I'd like to ask you a question: What ward do you live in? I've asked close friends who have been DC residents all their life and yet they start their answer with "Uhhh, let me see...um I think..." This is certainly true about myself as well. I grew up in the area of Washington DC east of the Anacostia River, and never knew for certain what ward I lived in. For me, the entire area east of the river was "ward 7 & 8"...lol! So, not only does this video clear up this question, but it also allows "That DC Dude" to navigate the entire city of Washington DC in bite-sized, manageable chunks, because not only do we identify the boundaries in this video, but we also show off what is within the ward too. Personally, I've always had a love affair with Washington DC!! The fact that I have been here for over 50 years doesn't erase the fact that there are so many things I can take a closer look at and peel the onion to find more and more fascinating nuggets, and then share with you.
