A quiet Sunday night in Tokyo.
After another long shift at my company, I stepped off the train and looked for something warm to eat before finding a place to sleep. Life as a salaryman in Japan can be exhausting, especially when working late every day at a struggling company. Most of my salary goes toward supporting my parents, so I try to live as simply as I can.

Tonight I walked through the station area, watching people enjoy their evening while I searched for a cheap dinner. I stopped by a ramen shop, then headed to the konbini to find something more affordable. In Japan, convenience stores like 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson are a lifeline for people who work long hours—cheap food, hot water for cup ramen, drinks, snacks, everything you need to get through the night.

After buying a cup noodle, green tea, and a small chocolate, I ate outside while watching the city move around me. These small moments help me get through each day. When the meal was finished, I cleaned up my trash and started walking again.

Now it’s time to find an internet café to spend the night.
Net café living isn’t glamorous, but it has showers, laundry, and a small space to sleep. For now, it’s enough.

Who am I?
