My name is Ania, and I’m a Project Leader and R/Shiny developer at Appsilon. We build the world's most advanced enterprise R/Shiny applications. We're also a pioneer in Shiny open source. With more than 20 R/Shiny developers onboard and numerous projects for Fortune 500 companies, we know what key skills an R/Shiny developer needs.

I’ll divide the presentation into three parts:
- R - useful packages, and why you'll never stop learning,
- Shiny - why Shiny isn’t the same as R, and why it's more than just another package,
- Developer - it's not only about R, I'll explain what other general software development skills you need.
