Pushkin House is joined via Zoom by David Brummell, chairman of the Pushkin Club, for a night of live poetry readings from the works of Alexander Blok. Active in the "Silver Age" of Russian poetry, at the start of the 20th century, we hear works spanning his career. David introduces each poem with a biographical introduction on the period in which Blok composed it. Featuring 'The Stranger', 'The Twelve' and 'To Pushkin House', among many others.
