Aunty Siam transported us to a day in her family’s kitchen back in Ipoh, Malaysia, and has successfully converted us from basic kong ba bao lovers, to believers of these traditional Hakka Braised Mui Choy Pork Belly Buns 🤩🥹

We reheated the leftovers the next day over some rice and it was even better 😍

All those hours of braising are 10/10 worth it – tender, pull apart meat, coupled with a satisfying crunch and savouryness from Mui Choy, preserved mustard greens 🤤
