As many viewers of the channel know, I am a HUGE fan of making custom sneakers. Recently, I've been trying to dive into the realm of shoemaking... To begin, I am making 20 different Air Jordan 4 inspired sneakers in a 4/20 inspired theme. This pair was created at the same time I created my bespoke Air Jordan 4 'Jack Herer' (video linked in description below) at San Diego Custom Footwear during the January shoemaking class.

While this is definitely NOT the cleanest custom, it wasn't meant to be. My intention was to learn as much as I could, trying to complete the project with as minimal aid possible and learn about working with different materials. With this pair, I utilized several exotic materials including stingray hide and fish scale from a very flaky mexican fish and I learned exactly how difficult working these materials can be. I completed nearly every part of the project without assistance and learned an insane amount about the intricacies and difficulties that come with the creation of a pair of sneakers from scratch.

Follow me on my journey of becoming a 'Cordwainer- a shoemaker; an artisan that creates new shoes from scratch.' This is just a mere look into the process of creating my 2nd/3rd pair of kicks and I can't wait to share my journey with you as I continue to create more custom, bespoke kicks!
