As dawn breaks, Chris spots something magical: a fog bow, a rare weather phenomenon neither of us has ever seen. But the calm is short-lived. Just as we round Cape Saint Vincent, the wind roars to life — blasting up to 30 knots. With a dangerous lee shore and no safe way into Sagres, we’re left with one burning question: Can we and our sailing boat floating home make it to safety?
