Yagi Antenna Build Using Gamma Match. Maximum Gain Design. Tuned Using NanoVNA. Tips/Changes I'd Do.

I built a 6 element Yagi-Uda antenna using a design from an online calculator written by DL6WU. The calculator creates a maximum gain design (narrow bandwidth) and gives dimensions in Metric or Imperial. I explain some of the techniques I used in the construction. The antenna can be made using only hand tools.

A NanoVNA is used to tune and show some of the characteristics of the antenna as built.
The calibration plane for the NanoVNA is the end of the coax at the antenna input and was done for each antenna.

Most of the ideas in the video apply to any Yagi antenna regardless of frequency.
