Here is an awesome aerial drone video produced by Gary Berg at G-Force Aerial Media LLC. This is a project we worked on in 2016. Kollmar Inc built and installed conveyors from the hop picking building to the hop kiln. We installed all the conveyance in the hop kiln along with our custom hop drying systems. The dryers consist of 75hp and 25hp New York blowers along with 6 MBTU and 4MBTU burner heads. This system is working in conjunction with the Measure Tek control system. We also installed the kiln floors, custom guarding and a mini-split Mitsubishi heat pump in the control room. From the kiln we conveyed hops into the cooling/baling room. In this area the hops are cooled on our custom in floor ventilation/cooling system. From here they are conveyed to the weigh scale and then bailed. The farm then moves them to a refrigerated cooling room designed by Kollmar Inc. After this step and a while to cool off the hops are transported to YCHHOPS for long term storage, bagging of the hops or pelletizing and bagging of the finished product.
