About the Mod:
A few quality of life features from Expanded Galaxy Mod (ME3) ported to LE3. As EGM will take a long time to be ported, a few behind the scenes features that improve the gameplay are being added earlier. Over time this mod will gradually become more like the full EGM experience, as more content is added.

Hello and welcome!

The Mod of the Month in July is a Mod that I wanted to present in June,
but for the original trilogy as some kind of preview of what to expect later.

I did not realize how far the porting to the Legendary Edition got already.

Therefore,
when I found out,
I ditched my work on the #MootMon June 2022,
and started over from scratch,
so we can now enjoy together ...

Let us begin with the EGM Feature "Squadmate Pack",
that has a few updates not available in the original trilogy version of the mod.

Did you ever wonder how Tali would look like if she did not pull that hood over her head?

Well, now you can have a look, thanks to Mellin!

Their "Hood Down" armour has been added to EGM.

The squadmate pack is now fully included,
so you do not need to install an extra Mod any more.

But like the OT variant of the mod,
the extra squadmates have no lines,
therefore you should always take one vanilla character with you.

As a really nice feature you can toggle helmets with press on the 'H' key,
and you can change the loadout outside combat using Control+L.

EGM adds new casuals for your squadmates.

Using the mentioned Control+L in public allows you to change your casual outfit.

All of this is very nice,
and there are more nice features I have to show you later,
but the main reason for me to install the Expanded Galaxy Mod is this:

Let's continue with the EGM Feature:
"Normandy Immersive Overhaul"

The personal computer in Mass Effect 3 is rather limited.

Let's use some features added by EGM.

You can set who's doing what on the Normandy,
and even recruit extra personnel like a cook, medics and engineers.

The E-Mails have been updated, too,
and are now sorted by sender and date,
which is very helpful if you need to find certain information.

After recruiting additional engineers,
they appear on the engineering deck.

Another nice feature are the extra upgrades you can buy now,
like a shooting range.

The cargo hold has extra vehicles now,
which you can set up using your personal computer.

Ah!
Yes!
And there is The Shooting range!
Let's have some fun!

Another very nice feature is,
that you can call up your love interest to spend time with them.

Liaras room has gotten some upgrades ...
...especially when she's your LI!

Like the engineers on the engineering deck,
additional staff can be seen on the crew deck, too.

There are many other features and enhancements for you to discover.

I have to issue one warning, though:

Once you have played Mass Effect 3 with installed EGM long enough,
going back to vanilla is very difficult,
because it will look empty and feel like the game is missing half its content.
