This is a full walkthrough for Call of Duty WW2 on Veteran. It focuses on aggressive play and has all downtime removed. Any segment where you simply lay on your belly waiting for a checkpoint is also omitted.

Compared to the COD campaigns we get now, this one is somewhat fully featured. Then you compare it to the old ones and it suffers greatly. Uneventful, bloated, quite boring, bad healing mechanic, poor set pieces, and far too many in engine sequences that needed to be skippable. The story is painfully patronising and the entire package is just beige. Veteran is for the most uninteresting. Replenishing on NPCs is tedious and frustrating. No hitmarkers pleases the immersion kids, but negatively affects feedback and kill confirmation.

I quit playing this campaign back when it launched after beating the first level on Veteran. I found it uninspired, easy, and beige. Returning, the only thing that has changed is contrast from the franchise's standards slipping.

I did however play a considerable amount of WAR mode back then, which was for me the best part of this COD, so I find it really saddening that the arsenal available during this campaign consists of the same 4 guns on rotation.

Oh, and the less said about those QTEs that involve the mouse, the better. Abysmal.
