The second bridge and one of two bridges in Poole, Dorset crossing the waterway leading to Upton Lake (the other bridge being the Poole lifting bridge). It opened in April 2012. It is iconic in Poole and very unique with its "twin sails" triangular design. Since opening, the bridge has had numerous maintenance issues and has unfortunately had quite a bad reputation. In May, work was undertaken to implement a long-term fix to prevent consistent maintenance.
