The Nation of Domination had a 2 year run within the WWE. The stable doesn't get half the recognition it deserves, with Ron Simmons as Faarooq at the helm, an absolute legend who made a name for himself by capturing the WCW World heavyweight championship. WWE recognizes simmons as the first African American world champion in professional wrestling history.

Then you had Mark Henry, who would carve his own legacy in the WWE in the years that followed. Mark would capture the world heavyweight championship down the road and become a hall of famer at the end of his career.

Then there is The Rock, who needs no introduction. Dwayne Johnson became a household name thanks to a wrestling career that launched him into Hollywood. Without The Rock's heel work in The Nation, the Rock could very well have floundered in the WWE, trying to be a babyface that nobody liked.

The Nation of Domination also helped kickstart the career of D-Lo Brown, Owen Hart would find a new purpose while joining The Nation, and The Godfather would show early signs of the gimmick that would carry him through the attitude era. Crush and Savio Vega were also repackaged as members of the stable.
