Inspiration from Spokes Fighting Strokes Founder Dan Zimmerman

This is the first of many video conversations I want to share as I continue to embrace physical activity to deal with the loss of my wife this past January. My intention is to share the great stories of people who embrace outdoor activities such as cycling, kayaking and sailing in order to deal with loss or in this case overcoming great physical trauma.

I became aware of Spokes Fighting Strokes two years ago when my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and she and I were looking for alternatives to the traditional two wheel bikes we had been riding during our 32 years of marriage and were not an option for Cheryl as she continued on her two year journey with stage 4 cancer.
