2007 - 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5L - Passenger Side CV Axle Replacement

Описание к видео 2007 - 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5L - Passenger Side CV Axle Replacement

UPDATE: The torque spec for the Spindle Nut is the following:
2007: 92 ft-lbs
2008-2012: 129 ft-lbs

This video is going to be about changing the CV Axle on the passenger side of our beloved 2007 Nissan Altima! After hearing a strange "whirring" noise around highway speeds we figured our CV axle finally gave up the ghost. It has been leaking grease for awhile now but wasn't having any other issues yet. Once we heard the noise coming from the front passenger side, we knew it was time to replace the CV axle.

Our 2007 Altima is mechanically identical to Altima's from 2007 through 2012 with the 2.5 liter engine and the CVT transmission. We go step-by-step, assuming you need a detailed guide to get this job done right. This job can be completed usually within 1 afternoon. The only special tool that you will need is a large 32 mm socket for removing the spindle nut off of the axle.
