Brass acoustic guitar nut, saddle and peg set. . . fake brass guitar parts?

Unboxing and review of guitar parts off Amazon and eBay. They are advertised as brass guitar nut, saddle and peg set for an acoustic guitar, but are they brass or are they fake?

This set of brass guitar parts is commonly available on the internet at such massive stores as eBay and Amazon and described as being brass and made of durable brass material. I was suspicious because even in the photos they didn't look right, so I tested all the parts to see if they are made of genuine brass or just some other metal that has been coloured to look like brass.

Brass is a nice material to use on a guitar or any instrument, for nuts on electric and acoustic guitar and also saddles on acoustic guitars. A brass nut produces a sound that conforms more with the sound produced by fretted notes because it is a very similar material and as a saddle on an acoustic guitar brass is bright and has good sustain and transfers resonance easily to the body so it can improve the tone of a guitar greatly. In a future video I will show you how to make and fit a brass nut on several types of guitar.

After inspecting these guitar parts and then sanding a little of the top coating off these guitar parts I prove them to be fake. They are made of a white metal and then coloured to look like brass and therefore are fake and not as advertised, but neither Amazon or eBay care, I reported this as being a problem but my email was completely ignored.
