Adoption Pick Up! Bulgaria Special Needs Adoption

In this video from 2020-09-14 I go and pick up my daughter! I adopted her from Bulgaria and she has Down syndrome.

NOTES:
1. I do not like the term "Gotcha Day" and listening to the voices of adult adoptees it's not a term that is supported. I prefer the term "Family Day" and I recently saw a family use the term "Ohana Day" so that is what I'm going with.
2. Please ignore the horrible car seat safety. It was a very hard transition for her as she was tired, hungry, and had no clue what was happening. We couldn't figure out the straps on the car seat, especially with her screaming and flailing, so we got her in the best we could. I was VERY nervous the entire drive. Thankfully she was okay with the car seat to the airport as well as the drive home from the airport once we returned to Canada. She will be REAR facing to the MAX here! (UPDATE: October 2023 and she is STILL REAR facing at 5 years old!)
