Committing his frustrations to wax brought about the explosive “F*** Compton,” which flung grenades at an emerging N.W.A.-led gangsta rap scene in the Los Angeles area of California that was beginning to outshine New York. And with a debut album, PENICILLIN ON WAX, Tim Dog—now backed by not only his mentoring crew, but also by a major record label deal—was not going to let his foot off the gas pedal anytime soon.
