"Amaranth" is from the Nightwish album Dark Passion Play featuring Anette Olzon on vocals. "Amaranth" is based on one of the most popular Finnish paintings, The Wounded Angel, by Hugo Simberg. Amaranth is a beautiful flower which fades away very slowly, therefore it's usually associated to immortality.
