Dr. Rania Farhat treats patients with pulmonary diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), breathing problems in pregnant women, and acute breathing issues. She performs diagnostic bronchoscopies and cares for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Her clinical interests include post-intensive care syndrome (PICS) , women's lung health and chronic pulmonary disease, such as asthma and COPD.

Dr. Farhat is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
