This ship will be used in the upcoming tv series Crossbones starring John Malkovich as the infamous Black Beard the Pirate!

This ship will only be docked in St Augustine a little while longer so go and see it if you still can!

El Galeón
Step back in time aboard El Galeón, the breathtaking 1/1 scale reconstruction of a 16th Century Spanish galleon, while she calls St Augustine, Florida her home port until July 2014. Spanish Galleons, used primarily for their cargo transporting abilities, were frequently bought and sold by Spanish and English governments during the 1600s, and often taken over and converted into Pirate ships in the rough Carribean sea waters.

St. Augustine, Florida is the oldest continuously occupied European-established city, and the oldest port, in the continental US.

St. Augustine lies in a region of Florida known as The First Coast, which extends from Amelia Island in the north, south to Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Palm Coast.

The city of St. Augustine was founded by Pedro Menéndez on September 8, 1565.

Anastasia State Park Recreation Area is a Florida State Park located off SR A1A, about 1.5 miles (3.3 km) from downtown St. Augustine. The park has a variety of wildlife, birds and plants in a setting of beaches, tidal salt marsh, and hammock.

Bridge of Lions - a bascule bridge that spans the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Augustine. It leads to Anastasia Island. Lions made of marble used to guard the bridge

Casa Monica Hotel - It is one of the oldest hotels in the US and is a member of the "Historic Hotels of America" National Trust.

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a Spanish built fort. It was known as Fort Marion (1821 to 1942), and Fort St. Mark(1763 to 1784) while under British control.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is a historic cathedral in St. Augustine, Florida and the seat of the Roman Catholic Bishop of St. Augustine.

Fort Matanzas National Monument consists of a 1740 Spanish fort, the Matanzas River on the northern Atlantic coast of Florida.

The Fountain of Youth is a legendary spring that reputedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks of its waters.

The Gonzalez-Alvarez House (The Oldest House) is a historic home. It is located at 14 St. Francis Street. It is National Historic Landmark.

Villa Zorayda (Zorayda Castle) is a scaled-down version of the 12th-century Moorish Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. It was built by the eccentric millionaire Franklin Smith in 1883 as his private home in St. Augustine.
