Drawing a manga style background

This is something I wanted to try for some time now - when I came to Japan one of the things I did was studying the way Japanese comics are made and also tried to make some by myself. I love the traditional methods - ink and pen on paper and manually pasted raster sheets but somehow over time, I moved to something I felt more at ease with - painting digitally and in color.


Tools used:
* Sketch: 0.5mm mechanical pencil with blue leads
* Lines: Pilot black drawing ink
* Lines: Saji-pen and Maru-pen from Tachikawa
* Raster effects: Deleter brand raster sheets
