Joby Aviation is closer to real air taxi than anyone else

In this video, I’m looking at the progress that Joby Aviation company in creating one of the first EVTOLs that is going to carry real passengers pretty soon. In early 2026, Joby Aviation is going to launch Dubai air taxi services in the UAE.

Also, the company is almost halfway through FAA certification. Will it actually be certified and will companies start using it as the air taxi in the US? Also, what has changed in the design and specs of the prototype? And what are the eventual specs that are going to be compared with the competition on the market?
