Namdroling Monastery's Teaching and Its Impact on the Himalayan Region. Namdroling Monastery is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet. Located in the state of Karnataka in South India, this monastery attracts Buddhist students not only from Tibet but from the entire Himalayan region, including Bhutan, Nepal, and India. Kunleng host Dorje Tseten spoke to one of Namdroling's venerable teachers, Kanpo Tenzin Yeshi, about the center's efforts to uphold traditional Tibetan Buddhist teachings while also implementing reforms in both methods and content.
