Most of the time, we get thrown into buying a filter or fixing a filter system just based on the product manual. Worst is when Plant Managers or Plant Engineers are asked to get better efficiency from an existing system without spending any more money. This seminar is to help you familiarize yourself with the fundamentals of filtration as it relates to Solids/Liquid Separation. Part 1 will include the simple under-lining principles of key Solids/Liquid Separation terminology and mechanisms as well as a review of various filter media types. Filter sizing/selection criteria will also be presented. Participants will leave with an understanding of the science behind filtration technology for solids/liquid separation.
