A trip around 'The Island in Pigeon Forge' with FULL RIDE POV on SkyFly: Soar America!

What is an island doing in the Great Smoky Mountains!? Why, it's just being a fun place to shop, eat, see great fountains, try out fun shootin' galleries and ride some random rides, including the best flying theater attraction since Soarin', SkyFly: Soar America!

Yes, that is correct, this technically an island getaway in the middle of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has a little something for everyone! While many places in and around the Pigeon Forge area have gift shops, wacky roadside like attractions and obviously a place to take old timey photos next to a Pepper Palace, this one is a step above the rest!

So join me as I take you on a tour around The Island in Pigeon Forge, looking in some of the shops, checking out the fun things to do (like a mirror maze and an amazing shooting gallery), having some lunch at Margaritaville (because why not?) and then going on a FULL POV RIDE EXPERIENCE of SkyFly: Soar America! This flying theater type dark ride is really well done, with multiple pre-shows, fun story elements, great theming and a very fun ride system to really make it stand up to a Disney or Universal level experience! And of course, there's plenty of REAL WATER!
