The Virulence campaign is a 5 part campaign that allows you to play as the Flood from during parts of Halo Combat Evolved's campaign, starting from the release of the Flood, all the way to the Pillar of Autumn's destruction.

In this first campaign level, you are one of the first infected in one hundred thousand years, and you feel the hunger. Fight through the swamp facility to free the flood from the millennia of confinement that they've been held in for so long. Fight through all the enemies you'd expect and be one of the horde watching the marines as they go intrepidly to their doom.

Needless to say, this mod is freakin' awesome! Playing as the Flood is a blast and it is very interesting to play from a different perspective of Halo Combat Evolved's campaign. Give this mod a go as soon as you get a chance!
