My model railroad dream layout: Märklin k-track switches with servo drive (English subtitles)

Switches that do not switch or switch unreliably are one of the main reasons for faults on a model railroad layout. Unfortunately, the electromagnetic drives from Märklin are not exactly known for their reliability. As I have already discovered myself, they can either fail spontaneously or only switch in one direction.
In forums or videos, short-circuiting the limit switches is often recommended as a remedy. However, I personally don't think that bypassing a safety device and creating a potential fire risk is the ideal solution.
In order to be able to switch the turnouts in the underground absolutely safely and prototypically slowly, I converted the slim k-track turnouts from Märklin to servo drive.
I think I have chosen a very simple and pragmatic way, which I would like to show in this video.

The solution is also very interesting in terms of price.
Here is a comparison of the various drives based on the RRP, the actual retail price is often likely to be significantly lower.
But the statement is very clear!
1. servo drive for a turnout: Servo: ESU 51804 16.95 + 1/8 decoder ESU 51832 71.99 = 25.95 € / drive for a turnout
2. Märklin drive with M83 decoder: Drive: Märklin 75491 27,99 + 1/4 decoder Märklin 60832 67,99 = 44,99 € / drive (Only for information and of course out of competition:
3rd C-track turnout drive with built-in decoder: Drive: Märklin 74991 25,99 € + decoder Märklin 74462 41,99 = 67,98 € / drive)
