FIVE CARS STUCK in the RIVER at POSTMANS CAMP

This trip we had nine cars lead by Simmo from Tracks Adventure Gear. It started Friday night at Alexanders Hut where we had a fun night around the fire and several beers. Saturday morning was a bit foggy at camp but we all packed up and hit the tracks through Tantawanglo towards Postmans Campground. The crossing at the campground turned out to be extremely soft at the campsite end and more than half of the convoy got stuck! Lowest tyre pressures won the race!

As we continued towards Wolumla Peak, we encountered super scratchy tracks where the weedy regrowth after the fires was starting to take over. The track up to Wolumla Peak was fun with some great views along the Bega Valley, then the 360 degree views at the fire tower were awesome.

Camp that night was pretty chill, I think we were all a bit cooked from Friday night and a long day on the tracks.
