2009 Toyota Matrix, 5 Speed, 2.4L, Canadian car

At the time of premier I have not saved this car yet. It still doesn’t run!!
Actually it runs but it won’t start. I can push it down hill and dump the clutch.

The car was Canadian, it’s absolutely rusted out. I don’t want to take anything else apart because I’m afraid I’ll keep having rust issues.

The starter housing is broke in half. Half of it is stuck inside the engine bell housing. I’ve been working it with a slide hammer, no help yet.

I’ve hit it with a hammer, used a 2x4, slide hammer, hammer and chisel, block of brass, I just can’t get it free
