Manila to Siargao Island: Philippine Airlines Q400 Dash 8 + Cancelled Flight Experience

First flight for this 2023 and its a domestic flight to Siargao Island!

Cancelled flight experience:
Originally booked with Cebu Pacific on the outbound flight. On the morning of the day of departure, we got an email saying our flight was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a flight two days later. We couldn't reach the Cebu Pacific customer service hotline to look for alternative flights. The only option was to accept the rebooking, convert it to a travel fund or refund the ticket.
So we decided to refund our ticket and booked with PAL instead.
Good thing PAL has a fare for same day departure just only 6000 one way with free 10 kg check in luggage per person.
