Tractopelle In Versailles was a band formed in 2008, initially as a reformation of Shiverspine but after one rehearsal the idea was abandonned.
Anthony and Arnaud (who took the bass) finally decided to jam together playing already written bass lines.
After searching for a guitarist, the band finally recruted Didier on bass, which was the bassist for the Shiverspine reunion which never came.
In early 2009, the band played its first gig as "Tractopelle" at a private party, this same night they are invited to the Taprischer Festival and later Khaled Mabrouk will join the band as a singer, by chance during a rehearsal at the Rockhatry, Tractopelle In Versailles is born.

The band wish to add keyboards on its music, Samuel Coulin will play one gig with them and later that same year, Loana Hoarau will join the band on Keyboards, the band is officially full.

Many gigs will be played, among them there is "La Première Séance" where they played with Hellbats, The Rebel Assholes, Sheroshot and Hangman's Chair, this night will be the launching of what will become the Moloco (Audincourt).
Other gigs with Carusella, Marvin, Generic, Tamtrum, Jack and the Bearded Fishermen, 1 Kub and the Wicked Wicked and many others.
In 2009 the band will record its first release, a self-titled EP recorded "live" in 2009 by Pierre Michalski which will be released in 2010, here it is.

The style of Tractopelle In Versailles is very unique, not only because of the use of two bass players but also because of every musician's style: This EP is really awesome and will have a lot of great reviews.
There is rock, post rock/metal, metal, groove and progressive elements mostly but the band took its inspiration from many other styles to create the sound of Tractopelle In Versailles.
The production of this CD is really great, everything sounds great on it.

The band will play at the FIMU the same year as the release of their EP, but after some gigs, Khaled left the band in February 2011, the band decided to got more into its style, more dark and deeper into it.
