Sony X3000 One Year Later - My Vlogging Camera of Choice

For most, the GoPro, X3000, Osmo Action or an iPhone are your best options for casual vlogging, particularly if you want to be on the go and just want to get into YouTube for fun.

Full disclosure, I already have a professional channel and this is my personal vlog. So I am in a different situation than most in that I'm not trying to make this vlog into a major income source. I really do it for fun and when I have time.

I know a lot of young people want to be pro YouTubers and for that, I would shy away from vlogging. Vlog because you want to live your life and share your story. Vlog because it's a fun hobby. If it takes off and becomes something else then great.

For most, like myself, it's a hobby and nothing more.

As for the X3000, it's great. Various angles, frame rates, small and light, good audio and battery. The only thing that can be improved on this device would be a better sensor to produce higher-quality video.
