Yet, instead of shutting down these fraudulent operations, AWS issued abuse case numbers and continued billing the scammers.

This isn’t just negligence — it shows how cloud providers profit from fraud while the government ignores smaller victims. Justice shouldn’t only be about $225 million seizures that make headlines. It should also be about protecting individuals who lost $10K, $16K, or $50K in crypto scams enabled by AWS hosting.

The case of Intellisoft.rest demonstrates how cloud negligence, lack of enforcement, and DOJ priorities leave victims abandoned while AWS and other tech giants escape accountability.
