My outlook on the future of this hobby has degraded over time, the biggest variable being a continued failure to bring young people into paper magic at scale. Today I discuss what's made my outlook shift. I've gone from generally bullish to marginally bearish. No, it's not doom and gloom, and I'm not selling anything, but I also don't want to misrepresent my expectations of the next 15-25 years. Let's discuss.
