The Show Goes On…line: Chok Kerong’s Pitch (2019) | Offstage

The long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s “Eleven”, “Pitch” features all-new compositions and arrangements written by Chok Kerong for his chamber jazz ensemble, marking his most ambitious effort to date. In this exclusive video, the pianist and composer presented “You Have to Leave to Find it”, specially excerpted from “Pitch” and performed by some of the finest musicians from Singapore, Asia and the rest of the world.

Performed at Esplanade Recital Studio on 27 February 2019, “Pitch” was premiered by Mosaic Music Series, which features exceptional musicians at the forefront of their fields while seeking to inspire Singapore’s own music community.
