The Atmospheric Chemistry group, led by Prof. Colette Heald, investigates the composition and chemistry of the global atmosphere and how these impact and interact with air pollution, climate change, and ecosystem health.

Colette and her group combine observations of the atmosphere from all scales (in situ to satellite) with global models of chemistry and climate to study these questions. They will also be developing a field program to measure biosphere-atmosphere fluxes of reactive species. Colette Heald moved to ETH Zurich in January 2024.
