Viking Line Viking Glory Inside Double X IDX tour

A short cabin tour of Viking Line's Viking Glory Inside Double X IDX cabin 8808. This video was shot on 27th June 2023. This 13 m2 cabin is a windowless inside cabin for two people and is one of the mid-range "Comfort" cabins on the ship. It is equipped with a double bed, a small armchair/seat group a television and refrigerator with complimentary drinks included in the fare. A cabin that is usually similarly priced as Seaside Double (SD2), with IDX you basically trade window for extra space and refrigerator.

M/S Viking Glory has been sailing with Viking Line since it was delivered new in March 2022. The ship is deployed on the high passenger volume route Turku-Mariehamn/Långnäs-Stockholm route where Viking Line has remained a strong operator for decades. Viking Glory represents the apex of the ship tailoring for the route with careful balance between passengers and cargo, plentiful on-board services and extensive use of environmentally-aware technologies. Initially a marketing company for three different shipping companies, the modern day Viking Line directly descends from one of those companies, Rederi Ab Ålandsfärjan (later SF Line Abp) that renamed itself as Viking Line after becoming the only company of the participants to survive.
